- Turn your Instant Pot to sauté mode and add the vegetable oil. Once hot, toss in the sliced beef and sear for 2–3 minutes until browned, then remove and set aside.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger; stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add broccoli florets, soy sauce, water, and brown sugar; stir to combine.
- Return the beef to the pot, lock the lid, and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 5 minutes.
- Once the timer goes off, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes, then do a quick release.
- Switch to sauté mode and stir in the cornstarch slurry until the sauce thickens.
