- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss the trimmed green beans with a tablespoon of olive oil, half the minced garlic, salt, and pepper, and spread on one side of the baking sheet.
- Pat the cod fillets dry, place them on the other side of the baking sheet, drizzle with remaining olive oil, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, oregano, and the rest of the garlic. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top and add zest.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the cod flakes easily with a fork and the green beans are tender-crisp.
