  • 6 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 6 scoops chocolate ice cream
  • 6 scoops strawberry ice cream
  • 1 cup warmed caramel sauce
  • 1 cup pineapple topping
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (peanuts, walnuts, or almonds)
  • q.s. whipped cream to taste
  • q.s. maraschino cherries for garnish
  • q.s. sprinkles (optional)

Method
 

  1. Start by placing banana halves in three large dessert bowls or serving dishes, with two halves in each dish.
  2. Add one scoop of vanilla ice cream, one scoop of chocolate ice cream, and one scoop of strawberry ice cream between the banana halves in each dish.
  3. Drizzle hot caramel sauce and pineapple topping over the ice cream.
  4. Sprinkle chopped nuts generously over the sundae.
  5. Top each sundae with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
  6. Garnish with a maraschino cherry on top of the whipped cream.
