Ingredients
  

  • 500 g beef (shoulder or fillet), cut into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 unit red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • q.s. Salt and pepper to taste
  • 150 g green beans
  • 1 carrot, julienned

Equipment

  • Large non-stick frying pan
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting board
  • Mixing bowl
  • Wooden spoon or spatula

Method
 

  1. Start by cutting the beef into thin strips and set aside.
  2. In a large, hot pan, add the olive oil and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the beef to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes until browned and slightly crispy on the edges.
  4. Add the diced red bell pepper, julienned carrot, and green beans to the pan, stirring for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, ginger, paprika, salt, and pepper, then pour over the beef and vegetables.
  6. Reduce heat and let the dish simmer for a few minutes to meld the flavors.
  7. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
