Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Skillet
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Tongs or slotted spoon
  • Colander

Method

  1. Cut the chicken breast into thin strips and sprinkle Cajun seasoning over it, ensuring it's well-coated. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then add the fettuccine pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken strips and sauté for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer, then gradually stir in mozzarella cheese until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and chicken to the skillet with the garlic parmesan sauce. Toss everything together until well-coated.
