- Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring it to a boil.
- Toss in the linguine and cook until al dente—about 8-10 minutes.
- Reserve a cup of pasta water and then drain the pasta.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the thinly sliced beef strips and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning.
- Cook the beef until browned on all sides—about 3-4 minutes, then remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant—about 1 minute.
- Pour in a splash of reserved pasta water and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked linguine and beef strips back into the skillet.
- Toss everything until pasta is evenly coated in the sauce. Adjust seasoning if desired.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan and chopped parsley.
