  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun or Creole seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 4 tablespoons softened butter
  • 3 tablespoons pure honey
  • for garnish fresh parsley or cilantro leaves (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and gather all ingredients.
  2. In a small bowl, mix parsley flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Cajun seasoning, black pepper, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine softened butter and honey until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pat the salmon fillets dry and drizzle olive oil on both sides, then coat them with the spice blend and add lemon juice.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil, place salmon skin-side down, and top with the butter-honey mixture.
  6. Bake the salmon in the oven for 10–12 minutes, spooning remaining glaze halfway through.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for a minute before serving.
