Ingredients
  

  • 2 steaks Steaks (sirloin, ribeye, or your favorite cut)
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1/2 pound Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley for garnish

Equipment

  • Skillet or frying pan
  • Tongs or spatula
  • Meat thermometer (optional)
  • Bowl for mixing
  • Spatula for stirring

Method
 

  1. Generously sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the steaks.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steaks for 3-5 minutes per side until desired doneness.
  3. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
  4. In the same skillet, cook the shrimp with Cajun seasoning for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.
  5. Sauté garlic in the skillet for 30 seconds, then add chicken broth, heavy cream, parmesan, and lemon juice; let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Stir the shrimp into the sauce and serve over the steaks, garnished with chopped parsley.
