Ingredients
  

  • 2 steaks ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick)
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

  1. Season steaks with salt and pepper, then heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add steaks to the hot skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them.
  3. Flip steaks and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, then remove and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and add shrimp, sprinkling Cajun seasoning over them.
  5. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes until pink, then add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and let it come to a gentle simmer, then stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Slice the rested steaks and return them to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the slices.
  8. Heat everything together for one minute and serve hot.
