- Cook the ziti according to the package instructions, adding a pinch of salt to the boiling water. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, half of the Parmesan, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a layer of sauce in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Add the cooked ziti and pour the remaining sauce over it. Top with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
