- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef.
- Break the beef apart with a wooden spoon and cook until browned, adding Cajun seasoning.
- Push the beef to one side of the skillet and add the rice to the other side, toasting for 1-2 minutes.
- Mix the rice with the beef and add water or chicken broth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until rice is tender (about 15 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in butter and freshly grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
