Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lbs frozen meatballs or homemade
  • 1 jar 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
  • to taste Fresh basil or parsley (optional, for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. Cook frozen meatballs according to package instructions or brown homemade meatballs in a skillet with olive oil until cooked through.
  3. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of the dish, arrange meatballs on top, and pour the remaining marinara sauce over them.
  4. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the top.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the meatballs and add breadcrumbs if desired.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with basil or parsley, and serve.
