- In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, evaporated milk, salt, marshmallows, and margarine. Stir until well mixed.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and let cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in the cherry chips and vanilla extract. Pour into a greased 9x13-inch dish and let cool slightly.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave. Add the peanut butter and crushed peanuts, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate peanut butter mixture over the cherry layer and spread evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator until firm, about 1-2 hours. Once set, cut into squares and serve.

Notes
Make sure to grease your pan well to prevent sticking. You can use non-stick spray or line the pan with parchment paper.
