For added flavor, consider using Greek yogurt in place of some or all of the mayonnaise for a lighter version. You can add nuts like pecans or walnuts for crunch, or dried cranberries for a sweet-tart flavor. To keep the salad fresh, store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days, and add grapes just before serving to prevent sogginess.
