  • 2 tbsp chipotle sauce
  • 2 limes (juice of)
  • q.s. Salt
  • q.s. Pepper
  • q.s. Bread (ciabatta, sourdough, etc.)
  • q.s. Butter (for toasting) optional

Method
 

  1. Season the beef strips with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil.
  3. Cook the beef strips in the hot skillet until browned and juicy (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. Lower the heat and stir in the chipotle sauce; let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
  5. Squeeze the juice of two limes over the beef mixture and stir; let it cook for another minute.
  6. Toast your bread (brushing with butter for extra flavor is optional) before assembling the melt.
  7. Assemble the melt with the beef mixture inside the toasted bread.
