Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into small, tender bites
  • 12 oz medium shell pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter for searing
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning optional for added kick
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter for sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup beef broth or chicken broth
  • 1.5 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • to garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook the shell noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes), then drain and set aside.
  2. Pat the steak bites dry, season with garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over high heat and sear the steak in batches for 2-3 minutes per side, then set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir in beef broth and heavy cream, then simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add Parmesan and mozzarella to the sauce, stirring until melted and thick.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce, then add the seared steak and combine well.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
