Ingredients
  

  • 1 wheel Camembert cheese
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 100 g diced smoked turkey
  • 2 small potatoes
  • 1 small finely chopped shallot
  • 1 yolk egg yolk (for brushing)
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • olive oil for cooking
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)

Method
 

  1. Boil the potatoes until fork-tender, about 10 minutes, then let cool and dice into small cubes.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, sauté the diced smoked turkey and chopped shallot until golden and translucent, then let cool.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Roll out the puff pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet, place the Camembert in the center, and surround it with the potatoes and turkey-shallot mix. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle honey if desired.
  4. Fold the pastry edges over the filling, sealing tightly, and brush with egg yolk.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and puffed. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes
