  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 pieces breaded chicken fillets or tenders (cooked)
  • 4 slices thick slices of turkey bacon (cooked until crispy)
  • 4 buns brioche hot dog buns
  • to taste Romaine or iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 2 Roma tomatoes thinly sliced
  • to taste red onion, thinly sliced
  • to taste pickles, thinly sliced

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, honey, mustards, and lemon juice for the sauce. Cover and refrigerate.
  2. Cook the breaded chicken fillets according to package instructions and toast the buns in the same air fryer or oven.
  3. Cook turkey bacon in a skillet or oven until golden and crispy, then drain on paper towels.
  4. Spread honey barbecue sauce on both sides of the toasted buns.
  5. Assemble sandwiches with crispy chicken fillet, turkey bacon, and fresh veggies.
  6. Sprinkle black pepper and drizzle more sauce if desired, then serve immediately.
