Ingredients
  

  • 2 pieces Steaks (ribeye or filet mignon) about 1-inch thick
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • ½ lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • ½ cup Lobster or seafood broth
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Equipment

  • Sturdy skillet
  • Tongs
  • Wooden spoon
  • Sharp knife

Method
 

  1. Generously season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until the butter melts and foams.
  3. Place the steaks in the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare doneness.
  4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  5. In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  6. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. Toss in the shrimp and cook until they are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  8. Stir in the lobster meat, heavy cream, and seafood broth, mixing well.
  9. Let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  10. Add a splash of lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
  11. Plate the steaks and generously spoon the shrimp and lobster cream sauce over the top.
  12. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
