  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth and glossy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract, red food coloring, and vinegar.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and fold until no streaks of flour remain.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool completely on a wire rack before lifting them out of the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into squares and serve.
