Method
- Preheat your oven to 400F (200C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the melted butter with the minced garlic and Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
- Brush the inside of each mushroom with the garlic butter mixture.
- Place the mushrooms gill-side up on the prepared baking sheet and roast for 8-10 minutes until tender.
- Remove the mushrooms from the oven and layer the insides with mozzarella slices, tomato slices, and basil leaves.
- Return the mushrooms to the oven for another 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
- Drizzle the roasted mushrooms with balsamic glaze and season with salt and pepper before serving.
