  • 4 fillets fresh salmon
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • optional pinch chili flakes

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic, grated ginger, honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, olive oil, and chili flakes (if using). Whisk until smooth.
  4. Place the salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and generously brush the glaze over each fillet.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, checking for doneness; salmon should flake easily but remain moist.
  6. About 5 minutes before the salmon is done, spoon more glaze over the fillets.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions before serving.
