- Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for a minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the stock, soy sauce, and miso paste (if using). Stir well and let simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Slice your protein of choice. Soft-boil the eggs for 6 minutes, then plunge into ice water. Peel and halve them. Wash and chop vegetables.
- In bowls, place the cooked noodles. Ladle hot broth over and arrange toppings artistically. Garnish as desired.
