Ingredients
  

  • 10 pieces Chicken Wings
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 teaspoons Soy Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic (crushed)
  • 1 teaspoon Finely Chopped Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Flakes
  • 1/4 cup Water

Method
 

  1. Wash and dry chicken wings thoroughly with paper towels.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over the wings and toss gently to coat evenly.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
  4. Toss the wings in the mixture until fully coated, shaking off excess flour.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  6. Place wings in basket, ensuring not to overcrowd.
  7. Cook for 8 minutes, flip, and continue for another 5 minutes while brushing with olive oil.
  8. In a pan, melt butter over medium heat and add crushed garlic and ginger.
  9. Stir in honey, soy sauce, paprika, chili paste, chili flakes, water, and a pinch of salt, then let simmer for 8-10 minutes until thickened.
  10. Toss crispy wings in the sauce until generously coated and serve immediately garnished with sesame seeds or chopped green onions.
