- Peel and quarter the yellow onion and wash and dry the parsley.
- In a food processor, combine the onion and parsley and process until finely chopped.
- Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and add ground beef, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and seven spices; mix thoroughly.
- Divide the mixture and mold it around soaked skewers into 1-inch thick kebabs.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and brush it with vegetable oil; grill kebabs for about 4 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Alternatively, bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.

Notes
You can substitute ground beef with ground lamb or a mix of beef and lamb for a more traditional flavor.
