- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare two 9-inch round cake pans by greasing and flouring them.
- Sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into a large mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
- Dissolve the Nescafe stick in hot water and add to the batter, mixing until smooth.
- Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared pans and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the ganache, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it simmers, then pour over the chopped chocolate and let it sit for 2 minutes before stirring in butter until glossy.
- Once the cakes are completely cool, frost the first layer with ganache, add the second layer, and cover the entire cake with the remaining ganache.
- Let the ganache set for at least an hour before slicing and serving.
