  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 4 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 cup Butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup Milk (2%)
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prep a 9x13-inch baking dish with foil and non-stick spray.
  2. Blend the melted butter and cocoa powder until smooth, using a whisk to remove any lumps.
  3. Add the flour, sugar, eggs, and vanilla to the wet ingredients and mix just until combined, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until set but slightly fudgy in the center, then let them stand for 15 minutes before frosting.
  5. While the brownies cool, prepare the frosting by beating together the butter, milk, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Spread the frosting over the warm brownies and let them cool completely before slicing.
