  • 3 pieces ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 piece egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • a pinch salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas, then mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add baking soda and salt, followed by the flour, and stir until just combined.
  5. Divide the batter in half; mix cocoa powder into one half.
  6. Pour the unflavored batter into the greased pan, drop spoonfuls of Nutella on top, and create swirls with a knife.
  7. Top with cocoa-infused batter and swirl again for a marbled effect.
