Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups uncooked penne pasta
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup diced cooked chicken
  • 1 cup spinach optional
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Method
 

  1. In the slow cooker, combine uncooked penne pasta, marinara sauce, chicken broth, and diced chicken.
  2. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 5–6 hours.
  4. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add spinach and stir well.
  5. Once the pasta is tender, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
