- Pound chicken breasts until evenly thick using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
- Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mix of breadcrumbs, Parmesan, basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken piece in flour, followed by the eggs, and coat with breadcrumb mix pressing crumbs onto the chicken.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear breaded chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer seared chicken to a baking dish and spoon marinara sauce over each piece, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
