Ingredients
  

  • 200 g crab meat
  • 150 g smoked salmon
  • 6 peeled shrimp for decoration
  • 250 g mascarpone or cream cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 10 cl liquid cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).
  2. Separate the egg yolks from the whites. In a large bowl, whisk yolks with mascarpone, mustard, and liquid cream until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whip egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Gently fold them into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Fold in the crab meat and flaked smoked salmon carefully.
  5. Pour the mixture into a parchment-lined loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown and firm to touch; let cool before unmolding.
  7. Decorate the cooled log with shrimp, lemon wedges, and chopped chives for presentation.
