Ingredients
  

  • 200 g crab meat
  • 150 g smoked salmon
  • 300 g peeled shrimp
  • 300 g fresh cheese
  • 4 leaves gelatin soaked in cold water
  • 1 lemon
  • to taste fresh dill
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • slices white bread for lining the mold

  • Saucepan
  • Plastic wrap
  • Whisk or spatula
  • Kitchen knife and cutting board

Method
 

  1. Soak the gelatin leaves in cold water for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, gently heat the fresh cheese until smooth, then add the soaked and drained gelatin leaves, stirring until fully dissolved.
  3. Zest and juice the lemon; add both to the cheese mixture and season with salt, pepper, and finely chopped fresh dill.
  4. Gently fold in the crab meat, smoked salmon cut into small pieces, and shrimp, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Line a loaf pan with plastic wrap and place a layer of white bread slices at the bottom.
  6. Add a layer of the seafood and cheese mixture, followed by another layer of bread, repeating the process until the mixture is gone.
  7. Cover the top with overhanging plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  8. Carefully remove the log from the mold, place it on a serving platter, and decorate with fresh dill and lemon wedges before slicing and serving cold.
