- In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with buttermilk until coated. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, spices, salt, and pepper.
- Drain shrimp from buttermilk, shaking off excess liquid; roll each in the flour mixture until coated. Rest for 5 minutes.
- Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the shrimp in small batches for 2–3 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through. Drain on paper towels.
- Warm honey in a small saucepan; stir in hot sauce, chili flakes, and vinegar until smooth.
- Toss fried shrimp in the warm honey sauce until coated. Garnish with parsley before serving.
