Ingredients

  • 120 ml soy sauce
  • 120 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 packs ramen noodles discard seasoning packets
  • 1 green onion thinly sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, cornstarch, sugar, and sesame oil until smooth for the marinade.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and sear the steak slices for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet with the steak and stir constantly as the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
  4. Boil the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, drain well, and set aside.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the steak and sauce, tossing until the noodles are evenly coated and heated through.
  6. Serve the Steak Ramen Stir-Fry on plates and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
