  • 1 cup pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup granulated sugar organic cane sugar recommended
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch or xanthan gum

Method
 

  1. Split the vanilla beans lengthwise using a sharp knife and scrape out the seeds.

  3. Heat gently until the sugar dissolves completely, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and cornstarch (or xanthan gum).
  5. Let the mixture cool before transferring it to a jar for storage.
