- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Grind the cannabis finely and decarboxylate it by baking at 220°F (104°C) for 30-40 minutes.
- Melt the butter or coconut oil in a saucepan over low heat.
- Add the ground cannabis to the melted butter/oil and simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring often. Strain the mixture through fine mesh or cheesecloth.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted cannabutter/oil with sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Once baked, remove from oven and let cool before cutting into squares.
