Ingredients
  

  • 250 g plain yogurt
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 sachet baking powder
  • 100 g chocolate chips
  • 50 g melted butter
  • a pinch salt
  • optional vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, sugar, and egg; whisk until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the melted butter and optional vanilla extract to the mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
  4. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add this to the wet ingredients, stirring gently.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips without crushing them.
  6. Using a tablespoon, scoop portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.

Notes
